Chris joined Bryant Park Capital (BPC) as an Associate in June 2015 following six years in the investment banking and private equity sectors, with an entrepreneurial tech venture sold in 2012. He brings extensive and diverse middle market transaction experience (over 20 transactions with approximately $900 million in aggregate value) having worked on buy/sell-side M&A engagements, equity/debt capital raises, fairness opinions, and principal investing both in California and internationally in Dubai. He is currently a CFA level III candidate and fluent in French, Arabic, and proficient in Spanish.
Prior to joining BPC, Chris worked for Grosvenor Square Advisors (GSA) in Southern California where he played a critical role in every major facet of the business model working directly under the CEO of the boutique investment bank, including valuation and financial modeling, CIM and pitch drafting, origination and capital sourcing, diligence and client management, as well as negotiation and deal closing.
Before joining GSA, he made a seed-stage investment in mycase.com (web-based platform designed to address communication barriers between attorneys and their clients) and managed all investment related aspects of the start-up, including sourcing the buyer – which lead to the dual-tranche sale of the company for $15 million (a 260% IRR to shareholder).
As a Sr. Investment Analyst of a $1.3B mixed-asset portfolio in Dubai, Chris successfully identified undervalued assets, valued & acquired private and public companies, monitored existing investments, pitched recommendations to investment committees, and added value to private holdings. The role had a special emphasis on private equity acquisitions of Financial institutions, and he played a part in turning around the firm’s largest acquisition (a corporate bank acquired from BNPP) from ($2MM) to $15MM in yearly profits.
Chris received his B.Sc. in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
